2022 Responding to Forest and Woodlands. Investigating biodiversity, seasonal changes, time and space within the woodland. I am connecting to nature through creative processes, collecting source material and drawing and painting from nature.
Through collaborating with the Acorn Project on Waking the Seeds project it has enabled me to reconnect with nature in the woods. I am the Artist Facilitator in the Butler Gallery Creative Workshops responding to the forest workshops lead by Maura Brennan of the Acron Project. This collaboration commenced in January and is funded by the Department of Agriculture till July 2022.
